I have been training with Joel at Personal Performance Training since October 2015 and this experience has changed my life. Joel has taught me a new way to use my body and developed my physical strength and stamina well beyond my imagination. Joel’s professionalism, knowledge, patience and positive attitude kept me motivated and eager to attend my next training. Joel monitored my progress against the set benchmarks and made adjustments to my program so that I reach my goals. I will never be able to thank you enough, Joel!

I have been training with Joel for many years now. I am one of the clients who decided to move with him to The hague from delft when he started his own studio. I believe I am probably one of the most senior female persons who trains with him weekly!

I started personal Training Delft with Joel to kick-start my somewhat sluggish fitness routine, in to gear. Joel’s professional approach not only challenged me physically but also my mindset of what my body is capable of doing, which for me is the hardest fight of all. He made an hour work out fly by, with his firm but encouraging manner.

About a year ago I joined Joel’s outside bootcamp in Scheveningen – it was an eye-opener to my rather poor condition at that time, but I immediately recognized professionalism of Joel and I knew I will be back once get more in shape.

The readers are very positive about my previous articles on gluteal muscle training. That is nice to hear. It challenges me to write the ladies a new article on this subject. Oh and not just for the ladies. I’m sure my fellow men would prefer some muscle instead of a flat behind. It is important to realize that when your muscles grow, your body looks prettier and more athletic. Growing muscle is called hypotrophy. Muscles will only grow if they experience resistance, and have to work hard.

A lot of magazines publish stories about fitness for women, and a lot of these stories are nonsense. Due to a lack of knowledge about fitness, a lot of women think these stories are true. Why do magazines publish these stories, you wonder? The want to keep their target group (women) satisfied, and do not want to give confronting information. Fortunately, these things change.
